Upcoming Offerings
Seva Retreat Weekends
My intention is to open with a small selection of Seva Retreats to begin building community. Participants will be invited to stay at no charge, in exchange for working on small projects around the property to help prepare for a later opening. Example projects include gardening, painting, trail making, and cooking. Seva weekends won't be all work and no play! They'll be structured to include down time, outdoor fun, and teacher-led practices of yoga, mindfulness and metta meditation to cultivate open hearted presence, and to honor the devotional essence and history of Seva. All meals will be included and cooking will be one of the seva options.

What is Seva?
Seva is a Sanskrit word meaning selfless service. It's a spiritual practice that lies at the heart of the path of karma yoga. It's the art of serving others without the thought of reward or repayment. In ancient India, Seva was practiced to encourage one's spiritual growth and at the same time contribute to the improvement of the community. It is in listening to the heart that we begin to understand that our innermost nature is a giving one.
f you are interested in joining us for one of our seva weekends, please send an email so I can begin coordinating dates and projects.
